Pageants & awards

From nominations to the crowning night

Collect nominations, shortlist your nominees into categories, open public voting, and run the results — all in one place, with Mobile Money and USSD built in.

Start with nominations

Before voting opens, you can run a nomination campaign to gather entries from the public. Submissions come in against the categories you define, and you decide which ones make the shortlist.

  • Public nomination campaigns with your own categories
  • Review submissions before anything goes live
  • Promote a shortlist straight into your voting event

Categories and nominees

Awards nights are rarely one list. Mould handles as many categories as your event needs, each with its own nominees, and each nominee gets a contestant code so supporters can reach them directly instead of scrolling.

  • Unlimited categories per event
  • A contestant code per nominee for fast voting
  • Search by nominee name or code
  • Nominee photos and profiles

The voting night itself

Live leaderboards keep the audience engaged while voting is open, and you decide how much of the tally to show. When voting closes, you can reveal the full results on your own schedule rather than the platform's.

  • Live leaderboard with optional trending view
  • Show or hide counts and percentages
  • Pause voting between segments if you need to
  • Reveal final results when you announce them

Ticket the event too

Most awards nights and pageant finals also sell entry. You can run ticketing on the same event: set your ticket types, sell with Mobile Money, and check guests in at the door by scanning their QR code.

  • Multiple ticket types with their own prices
  • Mobile Money checkout
  • QR tickets and door check-in
  • Voting and ticketing earnings in one dashboard

Common questions

Can I collect nominations before voting starts?
Yes. You can run a nomination campaign where the public submits entries against your categories, review what comes in, and promote your shortlist into the voting event.
How do supporters find a specific nominee quickly?
Every nominee gets a contestant code. Supporters can enter the code to go straight to that nominee, or search by name. The same code works over USSD.
Can I run several award categories in one event?
Yes. An event can hold as many categories as you need, each with its own set of nominees and its own leaderboard.
Can I sell tickets to the awards night as well?
Yes. The same event can carry ticketing alongside voting, with QR tickets and door check-in, and both revenue streams appear in one earnings view.
